About Dilulu

Learn about our mission, vision, and the dedicated team working to empower communities through sustainable gardening practices.

Our Story

Our Mission

Dilulu is dedicated to empowering children and families in Africa through gardening, composting, and natural living programs. We believe that sustainable practices can transform communities, improve nutrition, and create economic opportunities.

Our Vision

We envision a future where every community in Africa has access to sustainable gardening knowledge, healthy food, and environmental education. Our goal is to create self-sufficient communities that thrive in harmony with nature.

Our Values

Sustainability, education, community empowerment, and respect for traditional knowledge guide everything we do. We believe in working alongside communities to develop solutions that are culturally appropriate and environmentally sound.

Founded in 2015, Dilulu began as a small community garden project in Libreville, Gabon. What started as a single garden has grown into a comprehensive program that now reaches thousands of children and families across multiple countries in Africa.

Our approach combines traditional African gardening wisdom with modern sustainable practices. We work closely with local communities to develop programs that address their specific needs and challenges, while respecting cultural traditions and environmental conditions.

Through our school partnerships, community workshops, and training programs, we have helped establish over 200 gardens, trained more than 500 teachers, and reached approximately 15,000 children and their families.
