Social Media Volunteer

As a Social Media Volunteer with Dilulu, you'll help share our mission of sustainable gardening and natural living across digital platforms. Your creative storytelling and digital skills will amplify the impact of our work, engage new audiences, and build an online community around sustainable practices.

Our Social Media Volunteers combine digital communication skills with a passion for sustainability to create compelling content that educates, inspires, and connects. Whether you're crafting posts about garden successes, creating educational graphics, or documenting community events, you'll help spread knowledge and build support for our mission.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
• Develop visual content including photos, graphics, and short videos
• Write compelling captions that educate and inspire action
• Help document Dilulu's activities and impact through digital storytelling
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages
• Monitor social media trends and suggest content strategies
• Assist with planning and scheduling content calendars
• Track engagement metrics and provide insights for improvement
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to gather stories and content ideas

Requirements

• Experience with social media platforms and content creation
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Basic photography, graphic design, or video editing skills (at least one of these)
• Interest in sustainable gardening, environmental issues, or community development
• Creativity and ability to adapt content for different platforms
• Reliability and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or local languages is highly valued
